Is there a charge for delivery?
Normally there is no charge for delivery within our retail coverage area of 60 to 70 miles. We are able to provide this service as long as customers with just one or two items will allow us to hold their items a few days until we can combine their delivery with others in their area.
What if a customer needs delivery as soon as possible, is there a charge then?
Typically, there will not be a charge if we can accomodate the customer within our normal delivery work routines. We try very hard to avoid delivery charges by giving customers all the options possible that will not require a fee. Sometimes we have gone more than a year without having to charge a customer for a delivery.
Do you offer financing or do you require customers to go through a finance company?
At Machledts we carry our own financing with 90 Days Same as Cash and terms up to 48 months. Customers contracts are not sold or turned over to a finance company.
Do you offer No Money Down, and No Payments and No Interest for 12 months or more?
We do not. We understand how popular those options are but we have found that many people get caught by the fine print in those contracts and end up paying excessive finance rates or penalties when the grace period expires and the item has not been paid for in full. We feel that our customers are better served by simple and straight forward financing options with no unpleasant surprises.
Are there any additional charges for special orders?
We are glad to accomodate special orders at no additional charge. A 20% down payment is requested on special order items.
If I want to browse, will there be a salesperson following me all the time?
Customers are always welcome to browse as often as they like. Our staff is not paid by commission so everyone is glad to assist you if you have questions or need directions throughout the multiple buildings of our store.
